Marco Giovanni, previously known as Decker, is a New England area GWM, 38,
5' 8", 140, 30 w, br/br, and ? cut--well, there has
to be some mystery.
What do I think about sexual
realism and why do I write it?
Erotic writing too often
isolates the body from its broader emotional and cultural context. As a writer,
I am interested in the erotics of the body as they inform and are informed by this context. I believe the essential self most fits
the glove of the body during sex. For this reason, sex
marks our greatest moments of self-actualization, but
as we explore our sexual selves, we find self prohibited
or proscribed. Therefore, sex also marks our greatest
moments of loss as the self is fragmented to conform to
social hegemony, which is too often based on supernatural
and/or pre-modern belief systems.
My stories of sexual realism
trace the experience of sexual self unity as it inevitably
devolves to fragmentation secondary to a repressive society
that refuses to acknowledge the individual body as productive
instead of as an agent of collective reproduction. Therefore,
my writing is also invested in challenging the traditional
orthodoxy that views the body as sinful and orgasm as
absence or death, le petite morte. I say--fuck the collective;
orgasm is the alpha and omega of self.
